Artikel Kearifan Lokal


Kearifan Lokal Tradisi Rasulan diJawa Tengah
Rasulan adalah suatu tradisi yang sudah berlangsung sejak lama bagi masyarakat kabupaten Gunungkidul dan sekitarnya. Biasanya di tempat lain tradisi ini di sebut dengan tradisi merti dusun atau merti desa. Rasulan diadakan setelah selesai melakukan panen dan merupakan acara yang diadakan oleh masyarakat sebagai ungkapan syukur atas panen yang diberikan oleh Sang Pemberi rejeki. Biasanya kegiatan ini di mulai dengan kegiatan bersih dusun dengan melakukan kerja bakti di sekitar lingkungan mereka. Acara rasulan ini pun menjadi semakin semarak dengan berbagai pertunjukan yang di adakan seperti reog, jathilan, kethoprak, wayang, dan kegiatan pementasan kesenian yang lain, Pada puncak acara rasulan ini di adakan semacam kirab mengelilingi dusun. Semua peserta kirab mengenakan aksesoris tradisional.

Sebagai salah satu bentuk kearifan lokal, ada beberapa nilai positif dari pelaksanaan tradisi rasulan ini. Yang pertama yaitu adanya kesadaran bahwa rejeki yang di terima merupakan Anugerah dari Yang Maha Kuasa yang patut di syukuri, Yang kedua yaitu adanya semangat untuk memelihara budaya dan kesenian.

Dengan adanya tradisi ini masyarakat terus menjaga kebersamaan baik untuk kegiatan rasulan maupun saat pelaksanaan itu sendiri yang tentu saja dapat memupuk kembali semangat kekeluargaan.
